Spatial and Temporal Variation Process and Driving Factors of Karst Rocky Desertification:Taking Laibin City in Guangxi Province as an Example
The phenomenon of rocky desertification in the Karst areas of southwestern China has been becoming increasingly prominent, and exploring its underlying driving forces is crucial for solving this ecological problem.Based on remote sensing data, feature space model was used to extract typical Karst region rocky desertification information from 2000 to 2020,and geographic detectors were used to quantitatively reveal the dominant driving factors of long-term series rocky desertification. The results show from 2000 to 2020,the evolution of rocky desertification in the study area has shown an improvement trend of"slow first and then fast".A spatial distribution pattern of"mild in the East and West, severe in the South and North"is presented.Vegetation coverage, population density,GDP,and precipitation are the dominant factors in the evolution of rocky desertification.
