Impact of Digital Technology Integration on the Quantity and Quality of Enterprise Innovation
The Himmpat patent database was used to retrieve 15 446 patent data on"digital+"medical equipment technology from 2002 to 2022.The"digital medical"technology integration network was constructed using the first four digits of IPC codes to measure complementary digital technology integration and alternative digital technology integration.Taking 268 medical equipment innovation entities as samples,a negative binomial fixed effects regression model was used to empirically analyze the impact mechanism of digital technology integration on innovation performance from a quantitative and qualitative perspective.It is found that both complementary digital technology fusion and alternative digital technology fusion have a positive impact on innovation performance,and technology integration volatility negatively regulates the above relationship.
