Stability Analysis of High Steep Rock Slope under Controlled Fault Action:Taking Zhaotong Red Rock Slope as an Example
The stability analysis and treatment measures of high steep rock slopes are urgent problems in engineering construction and disaster prevention and reduction.High steep rock slopes are characterized by complex changes of rock strata, controlled by joints, faults and other structural planes.Based on the engineering investigation data of the high and steep rock slope of redstone rock in Zhaotong City as the geological background, discrete element numerical simulation software UDEC is used to build a slope model.Monitoring points are arranged in two collapse zones and faults above and below the slope body, and the displacement distribution and stress distribution under two fault conditions are compared. The influence of central control fault on the instability and failure characteristics of high and steep rock slope is analyzed, and the reference of slope prevention measures is put forward. The results show that the displacement is divided by the control fault, and the displacement of the upper part of the fault is obviously larger than that of the lower part. The presence of fault has no obvious effect on the stress distribution, but has a greater effect on the stress direction. The stress direction is mainly horizontal when there is no fault, and vertical when there is fault.
