Impact of Effect Reasoning on the Performance of New Product Development in Startups
In order to promote the high-quality development of new products by startups,a theoretical model of"effect reasoning decision logic knowledge management new product development performance"was constructed by combining the effect reasoning decision logic with the knowledge based view.Analysis of 422 questionnaire survey research samples was conducted,and the results confirmed that the method oriented principle of effect reasoning and the use of contingency principle can significantly improve the performance of new product development by startups.The principle of tolerable losses and the principle of strategic alliances will not have a significant impact on the performance of new product development for startups.Knowledge management positively affects the performance of new product development in start-ups.Knowledge management plays a mediating role in the impact of the principle of effectiveness reasoning,the principle of contingency,and the principle of strategic alliance on entrepreneurial performance,while knowledge management does not play a mediating role in the impact of the principle of tolerable loss on entrepreneurial performance.
