Spatio-temporal Pattern and Response Process of Urban-rural Integration Development in Hunan Province
The urban-rural integration development is the advanced form and inevitable trend of urban-rural relationship.Exploring the basic laws of urban-rural integration development in Hunan Province is of great significance to coordinate the urban-rural relationship,boost rural revitalization and achieve high-quality development.Principal component analysis,cluster analysis and geographic information system(GIS)analysis methods are adopted to explore the spatio-temporal evolution pattern and response mode of urban-rural integration development based on 14 cities and prefectures in the province.The results show that the level of urban-rural integration development in cities and prefectures in the province is generally low,and the level of urban-rural economic integration and urban-rural social integration development is the main reason for the expansion of the urban-rural gap.The level of urban-rural integration development in different regions of the province shows a certain spatial agglomeration,and the level of urban-rural integration development in cities and prefectures in Hunan Province can be divided into four categories from high to low:class I is Yiyang,class II includes Changde and Yongzhou,class Ⅲ includes Zhuzhou,Shaoyang,Loudi,Yueyang,Zhangjiajie,Xiangxi,Xiangtan,Chenzhou,Hengyang,Changsha,and class Ⅳ is Huaihua.From 2016 to 2022,the gap of urban-rural integration development in cities and prefectures in Hunan Province is expanding,and there are"high-high"and"low-low"spatial agglomeration centers in central,northern and western regions of Hunan Province respectively.
