Research Trend and Future Prospect of the Impact of Environmental Regulation on Firm Performance Based on CiteSpace
Taking relevant literature on the impact of environmental regulations on corporate performance retrieved from the CNKI database as the basic data,the scientific knowledge graph literature analysis method of CiteSpace software was used to comprehensively display the research status and development trends of related fields in China from multiple dimensions such as the number of published articles,main publishing institutions,keyword co-occurrence analysis,keyword clustering analysis,and keyword emergence analysis.It is found that the overall number of publications in this field shows a fluctuating upward trend.The main publishing institutions have significant geographical differences,and the scale of cooperative institutions is relatively small and mostly within the same or adjacent provinces and cities,as well as within the same institutional unit.There is great potential for cross disciplinary cooperation.The main research content includes the study of the impact of environmental regulations on different types of corporate performance,and the mechanism of the impact of environmental regulations on corporate performance.The research trend has evolved from early exploration to the diversification of current research methods and focus points,gradually forming a multidimensional and in-depth exploration research system.The impact of environmental regulations on corporate performance under different industry characteristics,multi domain and systematic exploration around national strategic decision-making,the synergistic effect of environmental regulations on corporate performance,and the mechanism of deepening the impact of environmental regulations on corporate performance will become future research trends.
