Accessibility Analysis of Emergency Shelters Based on Road Network
The accessibility of emergency shelters reflects the convenience of people emergency refuge and risk avoidance when natural disasters and emergencies occur.By collecting data on roads,emergency shelter locations,and population in the central urban area of Changchun,based on ArcGIS desktop software,kernel density analysis and OD cost matrix method were used to analyze the spatial distribution characteristics and accessibility level of emergency shelters in the central urban area of Changchun.Statistics were conducted on the population who arrived at shelters at different times under two modes of transportation,which are driving motor vehicles and walking.The result shows that emergency shelters in the central urban area of Changchun are relatively concentrated,the time cost from surrounding areas to emergency shelters is relatively high,and a small number of people in the area are affected,emergency shelters should be added.
