Producer Services Industry High-quality Development from the Technical Innovation Perspective:Based on Panel Data of Fujian
The effect of technological innovation on the high-quality development of the producer service industry depends on whether technical innovation efficiency can play a crucial role.The impact of technological innovation and fintech on high-quality producer service industry development and determinants in the province of Fujian from 2010-2021 was investigated.The technology innovation efficiency was only 0.676,which means R&D resources had 33.4％waste in Fujian.These results show that the government's improvement in technological innovation efficiency does not positively affect the development of producer services.Further,Fintech innovation improves the producer service industry's efficiency.However,the effect of Fintech innovation on producer service industry development is insignificantly positive in the regional model,implying financial allocative inefficiency in economically developed areas in Fujian.Negative extroversion from the co-agglomeration of industries exacerbates the urban infrastructure burden and the congestion effect of services.In contrast,a higher degree of co-agglomeration of industries decreases the high-quality development of the producer service industry.Based on empirical results and the regional status of Fujian,policy suggestions are provided for achieving high-quality development of the producer service industry.
