Monitoring Application of a Southwest Airport Based on the Dual-pole Sentinel-1A Data
Taking an airport in Southwest China as the monitoring object,35 views of dual-polarized Sentinel-1A downtrack data were collected from January 11,2019 to November 8,2021,and the PS-InSAR technique combined with the dual-polarized data was applied to obtain the distribution of deformation within the scope of this airport, and the dual-polarized settlement data were compared and then verified with the maximum level measurement data of the settlement deformation. The results show that the locations of the InSAR settlement deformation areas and the level settlement deformation areas basically coincide, the dual-polarization settlement time series show consistency, and the maximum settlement rates in the flight area of this airport reach-77 mm/y(VV polarization)and-74 mm/y(VH polarization),and the cumulative settlement exceeds-200 mm(VV and VH polarization),which is the same as the maximum settlement deformation value of-197 mm measured by the level in May 2021,which is the same as the maximum deformation value of-2021(VV and VH polarization).Comparing with the maximum settlement deformation of-197 mm in May 2021,it is found that the settlement deformation of this airport is still deepening. This study shows that the InSAR technology combined with dual-polarization data can efficiently identify the settlement areas and comprehensively grasp the settlement deformation of airports, which is of great significance for monitoring the airport settlement in Southwest China.
