Enterprise Financialization,Internal Control and Audit Fees
Taking the non-financial and non-real estate enterprises listed on the A-share market in Shanghai and Shenzhen stock markets from 2017 to 2022 as samples,an empirical test on the influence of corporate financialization on audit fees was conducted, and the moderating effect of internal control on the relationship between corporate financialization and audit fees was explored. It is found that enterprise financialization will increase audit expenses, and internal control can significantly inhibit the positive impact of enterprise financialization on audit expenses.Heterogeneity test shows that the effect of non-integration of two jobs and financialization of non-state-owned enterprises on the increase of audit fees is more significant.Regardless of the degree of industry concentration,it is common that the financialization of enterprises increases audit fees significantly.
