Application of Integrated Exploration Technology in Seismic Risk Assessment of Active Faults of Highway Bridges:Taking Xining Expressway Tianjiu Bridge as an Example
The Zemuhe Fault and the proposed Xining Expressway are located in the same corridor, which has a significant impact on the proposed Xining Expressway. In the concealed section of the fault,high-density electrical method was used to locate the fault, and then shallow seismic reflection wave method was used to further track the fault and determine the faulted layer using reflection wave phase axis tracking.Combined with near-field seismic geological survey, the activity nature of the fault was comprehensively analyzed and judged. Finally, drilling engineering was used to verify the comprehensive inference and interpretation conclusion, and it was finally determined that the Muhe fault(Tanghe Bajiacun section)was a Holocene active fault. The seismic stability of the engineering site was evaluated, providing reliable information for the design of highway bridges.Research has shown that using geological surveys combined with comprehensive geophysical techniques to locate faults and then verifying them through drilling is an effective method for assessing the seismic risk of active faults in highway bridges.
