Collaborative estimation method of target micro-motion period via multiple wideband radars
Micro-motion period is a significant feature to distinguish warheads from shape-decoys.At pres-ent,the main estimation methods of radar target micro-motion period have some shortcomings, such as large con-sumption of time resources, high requirement of single radar measurement accuracy and demand of multi-radar synchronous observation. In order to address the above problems, this paper proposes a collaborative estimation method of target micro-motion period via multiple wideband radar sets.First, the least mean square(LMS)algo-rithm is applied to estimate the actual size of the target, and then a mutative scale frequency mixing algorithm is employed to extract the target micro-motion period from the size sequence. Finally, the effectiveness of the pro-posed method is verified by simulation, and the application boundary conditions are also explored. This method does not require multiple radar sets to observe simultaneously, but can accurately estimate the target micro-motion period under the conditions of conventional dimension measurement accuracy and time resource consumption of single radar.
