This paper discusses the present application of machine learning in the field of chemistry and chemical en-gineering from the angle of information science,and discusses the significance of the application of information science in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering.Taking the information science analysis of the articles on CNKI as the ex-ample,this paper gets the development trend of machine learning in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering,and analyses the reasons for the different trends of the quantity of papers published in the field of chemistry and chemical engi-neering on machine learning and related fields.
