A Multidimensional Description Framework of Scientific Literature Resource for Scientific Communication Needs
To meet the scientific communication needs in the digital and intelligent research environment,this paper constructs a multidimensional description framework(MDF)of scientific literature resources from the perspective of struc-ture,fine granularity and relevance.This paper analyzes the literature information needs of scientific communication in a digital and intelligent environment,and proposes a MDF of scientific literature resources,which includes three levels of literature resource level,knowledge unit level and external link level.Then it subdivides the knowledge unit level into three dimensions of catalogue,content and citation,and describes and organizes the five knowledge dimensions of scien-tific literature resources in a refined way.Finally,the applicability and validity of the MDF are verified through the exam-ple document.The MDF can satisfy the fine-grained and semantic description of the example document,can comprehen-sively describe and reveal the knowledge characteristics and semantic functions of scientific literature resources from the five knowledge dimensions of literature,bibliography,content,citation and external links,and can meet the needs of in-terdisciplinary,multi granularity and accurate scientific communication.Obviously,the framework cannot be fully veri-fied by using only one example.
