Problems and Countermeasures of the Connection be-tween Secondary and Higher Vocational English Educa-tion
With the further development of education in China, the scale of secondary and higher vocational schools is continu-ously expanding and their teaching ideas and models are also constantly updating. But in the development of secondary and higher vocational education, the disconnection between sec-ondary and higher vocational English education is increasingly highlighted. In the school-running of many secondary and higher vocational colleges, the importance of the connection between secondary and higher vocational English education is ignored, resulting in the condition that the teaching contents are repeated and the requirements of vocational skills are similar, as well as the education resources are wasted severely. To this end, this pa-per elaborates the current situation of the connection between secondary and higher vocational English teaching, analyzes the causes, and explores related countermeasures for the effective connection between them.
