The ideological and political construction of specialized courses in the new era is a strategic measure to implement the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education.It is of great significance for comprehen-sively implementing the Party's educational policy and improving the mechanism of fostering virtue through edu-cation.There are various problems in the implementation of the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education in the current ideological and political construction of specialized courses in universities.Universities should explore integration paths and solutions from aspects such as improving education mechanisms,innovating teaching systems,and strengthening the construction of teacher teams.Improving education mechanisms can be approached from the perspectives of top-level design planning,construction of guarantee systems,and reconstruc-tion of evaluation systems.Innovating teaching systems can be developed from multiple perspectives,such as im-proving teaching documents,optimizing teaching content,enriching teaching methods,innovating teaching mod-els,and improving teaching assessment systems.Strengthening the construction of teacher teams should be imple-mented from the aspects of strengthening the construction of teacher ethics and style,enhancing teachers'aware-ness of education,enhancing teachers'education ability,and enhancing cooperation with other teams.
