The fundamental ability of programming is the core and basic ability of computer majors.This paper analyzes the current situation and typical problems of the training of programming courses in universities,and with the ability training as the core,driven by case projects,puts forward to build the training system of program-ming basic ability courses in a global and multi-level way;the reform of online and offline blended teaching and the whole process and diversified evaluation and assessment system are carried out;the cultivation of students'practical ability is strengthened through forms such as discipline competitions,enterprise projects,etc.After years of reform and practice,it has been proved that this mode has achieved remarkable results in various aspects including students'programming ability,teaching satisfaction evaluation,and subject competition.
