Community education is an important component of social education and an important way to achieve educational equity and promote social development.In the new era,higher requirements have been put forward for the quality of community education work.During the actual implementation of community education work,it is necessary to clarify that the target audience of educational activities is community residents.It is necessary to have a comprehensive and accurate understanding of the actual characteristics of community residents'educa-tional learning,find effective strategies to improve the quality of community education development,and promote the full utilization of the advantages and efficiency of community education.Based on this,this article will explore the current development status and future high-quality development direction of community education from three aspects:the characteristics of community education,the contemporary connotation of high-quality development of community education,and the practical path of high-quality development of community education.
