To implement the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education,ideological and political education must be the key measure to give full play to the hidden educational effect of the physics subject,and guide students to grow into new talents of the era with the quality of seeking truth,pursuing kindness,and appreci-ating beauty.Seeking truth is the fundamental pursuit of educating people in physics.It is necessary to introduce he history of physics into teaching to cultivate students'scientific thinking,and to use physical experiments to promote students to establish a sense of truth-seeking and internalize it.Pursuing kindness is the responsibility requirement of educating people in physics.It is necessary to guide students to be kind to nature,be kind to oth-ers,and love the motherland through physics teaching.Appreciating beauty expresses the humanistic appeal of educating people in physics.In teaching,it is necessary to enhance students'experience of beauty and improve students'ability to discover,feel,and create beauty,by exploring the beauty of symmetry,harmony,and the per-sonality beauty of physicists in the physics knowledge system.
