This paper uses the methods of literature review,case analysis and theoretical analysis to analyze the characteristics and current situation of higher education under the connotative development,and discusses the re-alistic challenges of the supply-side reform of talent training in higher education,including the mismatch between talent training objectives and market demand,uneven distribution of educational resources,lack of coordination between talent training and industrial development,etc.It then discusses the countermeasures of the supply-side reform of talent training in higher education under the connotative development,aiming to provide a reference for the development and quality improvement of higher education.
