Investment work is not only a fundamental function of university foundations,but also an important guarantee for universities to build high-level faculty teams,optimize disciplines and cultivate students.In recent years,with the strong support of alumni and social friends,the domestic university foundations have made signifi-cant progress,including the scale of asset,investment capacity and management system.This paper conducts an investigation and comparative analysis on investment work of university foundations in China and foreign coun-tries,and proposes corresponding suggestions based on research results.
