Research on the Difficulties and Countermeasures of Modernization in Higher Vocational Education:Taking a Higher Vocational College in Changzhou as an Example
Vocational education is a type of education in China's education system and an important component of the talent cultivation system.It shoulders the responsibility of inheriting the spirit of craftsmanship and promot-ing comprehensive national development.Higher vocational education,as an important link connecting vocational education,is an extension of secondary vocational education,a fundamental guarantee for national production and quality of life,and a forefront in promoting employment and stable development.The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that"high-quality development is the primary task of com-prehensively building a socialist modernized country."Taking a higher vocational college in Changzhou where the author works as an example,this paper explores the characteristics of the times,summarizes the difficulties of de-velopment,proposes reform measures,and accelerates the process of Chinese path to modernization by building a world-class higher vocational education system with Chinese characteristics,people-oriented,open and inclusive.
