Biology is a fundamental discipline in modern agriculture.By analyzing and digging into the teaching content of junior and senior high school biology,it is found that junior and senior high school biology textbooks in-volve multifaceted knowledge of agricultural modernization.Depending on the characteristics of the course con-tent,knowledge about the modernization of agriculture can be integrated into the teaching process.The integration of knowledge of agricultural modernization with teaching content can not only provide students with a better grasp of basic biological knowledge,but also help them to learn more about rural development,agricultural technology,agricultural production and process.By the combining knowledge of the textbooks and practical knowledge,it not only expands students'knowledge but also lays the foundation for their future career choices.The organic integra-tion of teaching and learning can not only increase students'interest in learning knowledge related to agricultural modernization,and also enhance their awareness of active participation in practice.This approach not only facili-tates students to understand and master the theoretical knowledge of biology in junior and senior high school,but also helps teachers to enhance the effectiveness of their teaching process.It promotes the contribution of biology education to the modernization of agriculture.
