After the promulgation of the"double reduction"policy,after-school service has become the top prior-ity in the reform of basic education.As an important supplement to school education,the effect of after-school ser-vice has become an important measure of the quality of school education.Creating high-quality after-school ser-vice and truly"reducing the burden and improving the efficiency"for students has important practical signifi-cance.Exploring characteristic after-school service in primary schools can promote the construction of high-quality after-school service in primary schools.The core point of characteristic after-school service is to build high-quality after-school service based on the three dimensions of characteristics of natural environment,charac-teristics of traditional culture,and characteristics of teaching staff.In high-quality after-school service,we should fully highlight regional characteristics,improve the school's level of education,and promote the individualized de-velopment of students.There will be various obstacles in the construction of characteristic after-school service in primary schools,such as teaching staff,funds,supervision and evaluation.Therefore,in the process of characteris-tic after-school service construction,we should pay special attention to attracting high-quality teachers from out-side the school,guaranteeing funds through multiple channels,and establishing a supervision system and quality evaluation mechanism.
