Meeting legitimate needs is the key to stimulating the development vitality of counselors.Legitimate needs such as material possession and professional identity,career development path,and self-realization vision have not been met,which inhibits the development vitality of current counselors.The solution is to motivate coun-selors with material honors,enhance action consciousness and respect professional values,enhance professional identity and optimize the assessment system,and smooth the promotion channels;to give play to autonomy by clarifying role responsibilities,strengthening professional responsibility and relying on learning platforms to im-prove professional capabilities;to stimulate creativity by refining development directions,broadening develop-ment space,promoting work innovation,and realizing self-worth.
