Clinical teaching is a key link related to the quality of medical education and the cultivation of medical talents.It can cultivate the comprehensive ability of medical students in multiple dimensions.Different from other disciplines defined by a single organ system,otolaryngology and head and neck surgery is highly specialized and has a wide range of content.Its teaching effect and quality directly affect the clinical knowledge,operation skills and clinical thinking ability of medical students.The main idea of the SPOC+flipped classroom model based on BOPPPS is to make full use of information-based teaching resources and integrate the advantages of traditional teaching to cultivate medical students'basic operation skills,clinical knowledge and clinical thinking ability.This paper discusses the promotion value and exploration significance of applying this teaching model in the clini-cal teaching of otolaryngology and head and neck surgery,in order to improve the technical ability and service level of clinical physicians in China as a whole.
