Research on the Current Situation and Countermeasures of Teaching Popular Science Picture Books in Kindergartens under the Guidance of Innovation Competency Cultivation
Innovation is crucial to a person's development,and even more so to a country's development.In the process of promoting the continuous progress of education in China,innovation ability has gradually become an in-dispensable driving force.Especially in the kindergarten stage,as an important enlightenment period for children's growth,how to provide children with innovative conditions,innovative culture and innovative potential for early learning in this stage has become an urgent problem for educators.Popular science picture books are an important tool for children's scientific enlightenment and play a key role in cultivating children's innovation competency.However,in the current teaching practice of kindergartens in China,popular science picture books have not been fully used.This situation not only restricts the development of science education for children,but also hinders the seeds of children's innovation ability to take root.This paper studies the current status of popular science picture book teaching in kindergartens,analyzes the existing problems,and explores how to effectively use popular sci-ence picture books to improve children's scientific competency and innovation ability.
