Tolerance and Measurement Technology is a specialized basic course offered in machinery majors.It serves as the link between foundational courses and specialized courses,and is a core course for complex engi-neering problems with strong theoretical and practical aspects.Taking Anhui Agricultural University as an ex-ample,this paper proposed targeted teaching reforms in terms of course objective setting,content reconstruction,teaching mode reform,innovative teaching methods,ideological and political education,evaluation,and continu-ous improvement.This will expand new approaches to curriculum development,enhance students'learning out-comes,and provide a new path for promoting their ability to solve complex engineering problems.
