The Comprehensive Experimental Innovation Design of Technology of Water Treatment Based on the Task-driven Teaching Approach:Taking the Experiment of"Feasibility of Biological Treatment of Industrial Wastewater"as a Case
To cultivate innovative and highly skilled professionals in the field of environmental engineering, the new engineering concept is employed to integrate practical application technology into the comprehensive experi-mental teaching of water treatment. This is achieved through a task-driven teaching approach, where students take ownership of decomposing experimental components and are guided to analyze and discuss results. The aim is to foster students'proactive engagement in experiments and build a solid foundation. In order to illustrate the effectiveness of this approach,we present a case study on the"feasibility of biological treatment of industrial wastewater"experiment. The experiment focuses on the efficient degradation of methylene blue dye wastewater by using the Fenton process.Through this method, the biodegradability of the wastewater is significantly improved.Furthermore, the optimal reaction conditions and corresponding weights are determined through orthogonal experi-mentation,providing a theoretical basis for the practical treatment of dye wastewater. This comprehensive ap-proach not only enhances students'ability to think innovatively, but also equips them with problem-solving skills for real-world scenarios, thus establishing a strong foundation for cultivating competitive professionals in the field.
