Extracurricular life is an important part of primary school students'life,which directly affects the cur-rent happiness index and future development of primary school students.Through telephone interviews and ques-tionnaire surveys with 20 parents and 200 students in 5 primary schools in X city that have implemented after-school services,this paper found that there are some problems in the after-school life of primary school students in the context of after-school services,such as insufficient understanding of the purpose of extracurricular life by each role,the heavy learning tasks of students,and the lack of obvious improvement in the effect of extracurricu-lar life.Based on this,three suggestions are put forward:strengthen all-round guidance for parents,improve pri-mary school students'self-management ability,and pay attention to the transformation of social concepts.
