Laboratory is an important place for medical graduate students to carry out experimental research.How-ever,laboratory safety accidents have occurred frequently in recent years,indicating that there are still many safety problems in the use of laboratories.Laboratory safety education is a key measure to ensure laboratory safety.This paper analyzes the importance and necessity of laboratory safety education in medical universities from the perspective of laboratory safety and research ability training of graduate students.This paper puts for-ward suggestions on how to strengthen the scientific literacy of graduate students,and puts forward effective mea-sures to carry out laboratory safety education,so as to improve the teaching effectiveness of medical graduate stu-dents'safety education and ensure the safe,stable and efficient operation of laboratories.
