The construction of new liberal arts requires the integration and intersection of different disciplines to cultivate students'comprehensive thinking.The International Finance course needs to be reformed to meet the re-quirements of the new liberal arts construction.This paper explores the reform of International Finance teaching models based on the characteristics of the course.In response to the shortcomings of traditional International Fi-nance course,such as weak mathematical foundations and weak theoretical and practical abilities of students,and outdated teaching content,constructive suggestions are proposed.This paper suggests that the International Fi-nance course should help students lay a solid foundation in economics and mathematics,restructure teaching con-tent,diversify teaching methods,and introduce ideological and political content into the classroom,in order to pro-vide ideas for cultivating interdisciplinary talents and contribute to the cultivation of high-quality talents in eco-nomic science.
