Mining of Materials Associated with Rural Revitalization and Teaching Strategies for Senior High School Geography from the Perspective of Ideological and Political Education:A Case Study of the Elective Compulsory Course Two of the People's Education Press
Ideological and political education in specialized courses serves as an effective strategy for achieving comprehensive and holistic education.The resources associated with the rural revitalization strategy offer a wealth of teaching materials for geography teachers to carry out ideological and political education.By fully integrating current affairs and politics into geography teaching,the fundamental mission of fostering virtue through education can be fulfilled more effectively.Based on the relationship between ideological and political education and the ru-ral revitalization strategy,with the fundamental elements of ideological and political education in the curriculum as a starting point,this paper organizes and interprets the materials associated with rural revitalization found in the senior high school geography textbook for the Elective Compulsory Course Two of the People's Education Press version.Furthermore,it explores pathways for incorporating these materials into geography teaching and pro-poses a viable plan for seamlessly integrating national current affairs and politics,such as rural revitalization,into senior high school geography teaching.
