Students'academic performance is an important indicator for evaluating educational effectiveness,and academic performance is directly related to individual learning engagement.Social mobility beliefs are considered to be confidence and expectations in social class mobility,which have an important impact on students'learning motivation and engagement.As a psychological resource for coping with challenges and pressure,psychological capital not only directly affects students'learning attitudes,but also regulates the relationship between social mo-bility beliefs and learning engagement through its components,such as hope,self-efficacy,resilience,and opti-mism.Researchers have proposed self-determination theory,social cognitive theory,and goal setting theory to ex-plain the interactive relationship between these factors.A deep understanding of the relationship between them will help to adopt more effective educational strategies to improve students'academic performance.
