摘要
语境是译者在英汉翻译过程中必须要考虑的一个重要因素。通过对一些实例的分析和比较，可以发现译者对语境的考虑不仅体现在原作的理解阶段，同时也体现在译作的表达阶段。这个过程也充分说明了译者既是原作的读者，又是其译作创作者的双重身份。
