文章主要通过对铁路车辆段信息化建设现状的分析,对地理信息系统概念和特点的阐述以及对现今应用最广的GIS技术平台之一ArcGIS的介绍,提出了建设数字化铁路车辆段的设想,并给出了基于ArcGIS技术的＂数字车辆段＂结构设计与关键技术分析。
