Starting from the concept and steps of mathematical modeling in this paper,the significance of the infitration of mathe-matical modeling in higher mathematics teaching is given, the method of infitrating the thoughts on mathematical model building are dis-cussed, guiding students to explore the nature and laws of the problem, enhancing students’consciousness of applying mathematics.
