For research and development of smart meters harmonic analysis, we propose two different designs, one is to achieve har-monic analysis by STM32 software programming, the other is realized by having a harmonic analysis of professional metering chip. Ex-perimental measurement data record two programs and a comparative analysis, taking into account cost, accuracy and stability, the two product design applications gives a reasonable positioning through.
