To accelerate the construction of an agricultural powerhouse,it is necessary to use agricultural provinces as carriers.Ac-cording to the connotations and characteristics of strong agricultural provinces,a comprehensive evaluation system of 51 three-level in-dexes was constructed.The entropy weight TOPSIS method and coupled coordination model were used to analyze the construction degree of strong agricultural provinces and the coordinated development degree of subsystems.The results showed that the development level of strong agricultural provinces is generally low,and there are significant regional differences with the east region better than the west re-gion;the development of subsystems in most provinces is not coordinated enough.Thus,it is necessary to develop characteristic agri-cultural industries according to local conditions,and also pay more attention to the coordinated construction of agriculture,rural areas,and farmers.
