The Influence Mechanism of Internet Market Orientation on the Performance of New Start-ups——The Mediating Role of Knowledge Search and the Moderating Role of Big Data Capability
Based on the knowledge-based view and organizational search theory,a theoretical model of the relationship between network market orientation,knowledge search and enterprise performance is constructed to explore the path mechanism of knowledge-intensive start-ups'performance improvement from the perspective of knowledge search.Through the analysis of 364 questionnaires,it is found that:network market orientation has a positive impact on the performance of knowledge-intensive start-ups;knowledge search plays a mediating role between network market orientation and start-up performance;and big data capability positively moderates the relation-ship between knowledge search and start-up performance,i.e.,the higher the level of big data capability,the stronger the positive rela-tionship between knowledge search and start-up performance.The conclusions help to reveal the process of new start-ups using network market orientation to achieve enterprise performance improvement in complex market environments,which not only expands the applica-tion value of the knowledge-based view,but also provides management insights for new start-ups at the practical level.
