The embedding of digital and information technology in industrial and social development has formed a virtual agglomeration of information space that was originally dispersed geographically,affecting the efficiency of land resource allocation.Based on panel da-ta from 285 prefecture level cities in China from 2006 to 2016,a spatial econometric model was used to examine the impact of"virtual+geographic"agglomeration on regional land resource misallocation.The research has found that market potential can worsen local land misallocation,but it can improve land misallocation in surrounding areas.Virtual agglomeration can help improve local land misal-location,but the spatial spillover effect is not significant.Therefore,Importance should be attached to the digital upgrading of indus-tries,reasonably layout of infrastructure construction and investment,reforming obstacles that restrict the efficiency of land factor allo-cation in order to activate the stock of land factors,release the vitality of land factors,and improve the efficiency of land factors.
