Scientific and technological talents are the primary resources for China to realize the strategy of high-level scientific and tech-nological self-reliance and scientific and technological power.Constructing a scientific and effective evaluation index system has a great effect on enhancing the workplace well-being and innovation vigor of scientific and technological talents.However,the existing evalua-tion indexes of scientific and technological talents have problems such as favoring talent over character,quantity over quality,output over talent cultivation,individual evaluation over team evaluation,and current evaluation over developmental evaluation.In order to play the guiding role of scientific and technological talent evaluation,this study adopted rooted analysis,constructed a scientific and technological talent evaluation index system covering 5 first-level indexes(character,knowledge,ability,performance and contribution and influence),13 second-level indexes and 27 third-level indexes,and assigned weights to the evaluation indexes by entropy value method,and finally examined the relationship between scientific and technological talent evaluation indexes and innovation vigor and workplace well-being.
