Research on the Impact of Artificial Intelligence Development on Complex Activities in Global Value Chain

人工智能是推动产业变革和价值链升级的战略性技术.基于斯坦福大学HAI数据库,构建2017-2021 年28 个国家制造业的人工智能发展水平指标,并探究制造业人工智能发展水平对全球价值链复杂链地位的影响及作用机制.结果表明,随着制造业人工智能发展水平增加,全球价值链复杂链地位提高;制造业人工智能发展水平主要通过提高劳动生产率提高全球价值链复杂链地位.因此,我国应积极推进人工智能与制造业深度融合、加大工业智能化发展的财政金融支持力度、强化人工智能与智能制造人才培养体系等以提高全球价值链复杂链地位.
Artificial intelligence is a strategic technology that promotes industrial transformation and value chain upgrading.Based on the HAI database of Stanford University,the artificial intelligence development level index of manufacturing industry in 28 countries from 2017 to 2021 was constructed,and the influence and mechanism of the development level of artificial intelligence in manufacturing industry on the complex chain position of global value chain was explored.The results show that with the increase of the development level of artificial intelligence in the manufacturing industry,the position of complex chain in the global value chain is improved;the de-velopment level of artificial intelligence in manufacturing industry mainly improves the position of complex chain in global value chain by improving labor productivity.Therefore,China should actively promote the deep integration of artificial intelligence and manufactur-ing industry,increase financial support for industrial intelligent development,and strengthen the training system of artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing talents to improve the position of the complex chain of the global value chain.
