Industry-related diversification plays a crucial role in the regional economic and trade development.This paper primarily in-vestigates the influence of industry-related diversification on export resilience.Building upon relevant research and theoretical knowl-edge,existing conclusions and empirical evidence were reviewed;utilizing panel data from provinces(municipalities and autonomous regions)between 2008 and 2022 and employing baseline regression model,the relationship between industry-related diversification and export resilience was preliminarily assessed.Regional regression analyses were conducted to test the heterogeneity;furthermore,by em-ploying regional absorptive capacity as a moderating variable,the nonlinear impact mechanism of industry-related diversification on ex-port resilience was explored through interaction term regression models.The results indicate that industry-related diversification in Chi-na has a significantly negative effect on export resilience,with the negative impact being more pronounced in western regions.Regional absorptive capacity moderates the negative impact of industry diversification on export resilience.
