Brief analysis problems in the design of short-stress path mill
Short-stress path mill was widely applied in the production line of wire rod and bar. However, there are some problems needs to concern in the process of using. 1 type selection of universal spindle, 2 the structure form of roll assembly on the end, 3 the structure form of lock cylinder on the rolling mill, 4 screw-down form of the rolling mill, 5 guide form of the rolling mill. In this paper, analysis on the above problems were carried, and new improvement methods were introduced, which can make cost down, improve the quality,and ensure stability in production.
