In recent years,GPS-controlled surveying and mapping technology has developed rapidly,which pro-vides efficient and accurate positioning services for various industries.Through the integration of the geographic in-formation system and GPS-controlled surveying and mapping technology,the surveying and mapping work mode can be optimize,and the surveying and mapping level in China can be effectively improved.Based on this,this pa-per briefly summarizes GPS-controlled surveying and mapping technology,analyzes the application advantages of GPS-controlled surveying and mapping technology,analyzes the system of GPS-controlled surveying and mapping technology,and studies the application strategy of GPS-controlled surveying and mapping technology in the geo-graphic information system,aiming at exerting the value of GPS-controlled surveying and mapping technology and promoting the vigorous development of the surveying and mapping industry in China.
