Practice and Strategies of the Construction of Literature Resources with Local Characteristics in Colleges and Universities—Taking the Library of Jiangnan University as an Example
The construction of literature resources with local characteristics is an important part of the collection construction and characteristic services of university libraries.On the basis of sorting out the research on the con-struction of literature resources with local characteristics,this paper expounds the construction of literature resources with local characteristics in the Library of Jiangnan University,probes into the main problems encountered in the construction of literature resources with local characteristics in university libraries,and puts forward the strategies for the construction of literature resources with local characteristics in university libraries,including planning as a whole,seeking support from multiple sources,highlighting the characteristics of topics,taking multiple measures to expand collection channels,strengthening collaboration,strengthening digitization and standardization work,etc.
