Impact of Bromine Ions on Anaerobic Reactions and Countermeasures
This device has two PTA units with a production capacity of 3 million tons, which generate about 1000 tons of wastewater per hour, and a total of seven anaerobic reactors, and wastewater contains organics, metal ions,high-concentration sodium ions and bromine ions. The problems existing in anaerobic reactors are high COD content at the outlet, high sludge content at the outlet and the inability to reach the design value of hydraulic load, which can affect the drainage quality of the sewage plant and the operation of the PTA main unit in severe cases. The temperature, feed concentration and inlet nutrient composition of anaerobic reactors were optimized, but no effect was observed. After consulting relevant information, influence factors such as iron,sulfur,magnesium,potas-sium,nickel,cobalt and manganese were excluded, and the effect of bromine on anaerobic reactions was not found in relevant literature. This paper conducts the industrial experiments of the impact of bromine ions on anaerobic reactions. It adopts a biochemical mathematical model and MATLAB software to search for suitable parameters for anaerobic reactors and achieves good experimental results.By changing the sewage process, feed bromine content and reaction time, the effluent COD of anaerobic reactors meets the requirements, sludge content is normal, and the efficiency of anaerobic reactors is improved.
