With the gradual popularization of digitization and informatization,the communication methods of tra-ditional media have been broken,book information is gradually occupying people's lives in the form of new media,and finally presents the communication characteristics of media convergence.In this context,this paper discusses the role of media convergence in promoting the construction of digital library resources,proposes problems existing in the construction of digital library resources in the new media environment,explains the role and significance of the development strategy of using media convergence for digital libraries,and finally implements personalized services with the Guangzhou Library as an example,which provides reference for the long-term development of the library.
