Research on Strategies for the Informatization Development of University Libraries
This paper studies strategies for the informatization development of university libraries.Firstly,it analyzes the current situation of the informatization of university libraries,and finds problems such as outdated hardware fa-cilities,incomplete software facilities,outdated management concepts and service methods,immature technology,untimely updates and outdated information resources in the informatization of university libraries.Then,it proposes four development strategies:establish plans for informatization development to optimize resource allocation,update library management concepts to improve resource sharing efficiency,improve the professional quality and work ability of library staff,and enrich the library's collection of books and documents.By adopting the above strategies,university libraries can achieve the goal of informatization development,which provides important references for university library managers and researchers in informatization development.This study mainly adopts the methods of literature review and case analysis,and proposes corresponding strategies by summarizing and analyzing existing re-search and practical experience.The important findings are the problems and development strategies faced by the informatization development of university libraries.The core conclusion is that establishing plans,updating man-agement concepts,improving talent quality and enriching library collections can promote the informatization de-velopment of university libraries.
